With everyone focused on Friday which should see Apple’s biggest phone launch many current iOS device owners are forgetting that iOS 6 will be out today.

With the release of the iPhone 5 just 2 days away reviewers are starting to post their full reviews on Apple’s flagship phone.
Though not all of us will admit it, we all like to watch the unboxing of a new product and with the iPhone 5 there will be plenty of unboxing videos on YouTube in the coming days.
CNET are one of the first major sites to put up a full review and you can also see the unboxing below.
iPhone 5 event video now online

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for last 24 hours, you probably know the Apple announced the iPhone 5 yesterday. If you’ve been following the coverage you’ll know the stand out features are the new 4-inch display and LTE.
As with all their big events, Apple recorded the unveiling of their newest phone and it is now on their website for you to watch.

Standalone YouTube app comes to the iPhone

After Apple said that they would be no longer be shipping the YouTube app with iOS, Google promised that they would be working on a their own version for the App Store. Today Google has pushed the resigned YouTube app for iOS to the App Store for iPhone and iPod touch. For tablet users there is no new YouTube app for the iPad yet, but Google are working on a iPad optimized app that will be available in the coming months.

iPhone 5 event taking place on September 12th (officially)

We’ve known for a while that Apple would be holding an event in September to announce the new iPhone but nothing was concrete until we heard from Apple.
Now the concrete has set and it’s official, Apple will be unveiling the iPhone 5 on September 12th in San Francisco.
Apple removes YouTube from iOS 6

Apple and Google are trying to distance themselves away from each other as much as possible, and in doing so Apple have removed the YouTube application from iOS 6.
Apple told The Verge that the licence to include YouTube has ended.

By now we’ve all heard of Siri. Its your personal assistant. It launched with the iPhone 4S with mixed reviews, some say they use it daily and see it as a welcome addition and others say its a bit of a gimmick, they used it for the first couple of days and haven’t used it since.
And you thought the black iPhone 3D render looked good
Last week we saw pictures of what this years iPhone could look like based on leaked product parts. Those pictures depicted a black iPhone that looked super sexy and I’d buy in a heart beat.
Now a Gizmodo reader called Martin Hajek has rendered an even more beautiful white iPhone. If Apple were to put this on sale I can see a lot of people buying this phone just based on looks alone.
