New BlackBerry adverts for the U.K market
Research In Motion continue to push the BlackBerry brand in the U.K, which is one of the markets that BlackBerry is actually doing well in. The new adverts focus on BBM music on the BlackBerry Curve 9320, web browsing on a BlackBerry Bold 9900 and NFC payments on a BlackBerry Bold 9790.
Will these features stop you jumping ship or will they convince you to go BlackBerry?
BlackBerry Bold 9790 on its way to Orange
If you have to have a phone with a physical keyboard, your emails pushed to your device instantly while looking stylish you can’t do better than a BlackBerry Bold. The BlackBerry Bold 9790 strays away from the design of the Bold 9900 that a minority didn’t warm too and goes back to a smaller design resembling the Bold 9700/9780. Coming soon to Orange the 9790 sports a 1GHz processor slightly slower than the 9900, a 2.45 inch touchscreen, 8GB of storage, NFC and a 5 megapixel autofocus camera. Running BlackBerry OS 7 this phone is perfect for anyone that wants the specs of a 9900 in a smaller package.
Blackberry Bold 9790 design change
The Blackberry faithful have been patiently waiting for the 9790 a cross between the design of the Bold 9700/9780 and the internals of the 9900. Somewhere along the lines RIM has decided that they needed to add ugly buttons to a reasonable design and in my opinion ruin the phone. Do you like the new design or do you prefer the 9700/9780 buttons.
