Apple looking to hit the $249 price point with the entry level iPad mini

When Apple do finally announce the iPad mini they may offer a smaller capacity than they have on any previous iPad.
To hit the $249 price point Apple will offer the iPad mini with 8GB of internal storage. The larger 9.7-inch iPad has always started at 16GB so it will be interesting to see how many people opt in and buy the 8GB mini opposed to larger storage option.
The iPad mini will directly compete with Google’s Nexus 7 in screen size and price point.
Apple are expect to unveil the iPad mini on October 23.
