Low cost Acer tablet to rival the Nexus 7
Google gave us the Nexus 7, we’re waiting for Apple to give us a smaller iPad and now Acer are coming out with the Iconia A110, the cheap tablet wars are hotting up.
Coming in at under £200 with comparable specs to the Nexus 7 is quite an achievement.
The Iconia A110 will have a quad-core Tegra 3 processor just like Google’s tablet, 8GB storage, HDMI out, 1GB of RAM and a 1024 x 600 7-inch display. To further keep in touch with the Nexus 7,the Acer tablet will come with Jelly Bean out of the box.
Ebuyer has the tablet up as a pre-order for £179 and expect it to ship on October 1st.
