Sony Ericsson release Ice Cream Sandwich
If you’ve got an unlocked Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S, Xperia Neo V or an Xperia Ray you can load up your phone with an early build of Ice Cream Sandwich. The build is such an early version that a lot of things you regularly rely on are turned off, for instance Bluetooth, WiFi and the FM-radio not to mention the Modem which means your sim card won’t be recognised so you won’t be able to make or receive phone calls or texts. The Google apps like Gmail and Google maps are missing all together but this build of the software is aimed at advanced users and developers and not your everyday user. Before you take the plunge I suggest you head on over to Sony Ericsson developer world for all the details you need to know.
